First
Introduction + Design Consultation
I meet with the winner in their home, or in my office in a Historic Downtown Napa Building, to get to know them, discuss the vision for their session, and plan wardrobes, props, and styling. I design a plan for wall art to fit their home and style before the portrait session, so they know exactly what to expect on the day of the session
Second
The Portrait Experience
Because we have already met in person, and made all the hard decisions ahead of time, the winner will experience a pre-planned and well-executed portrait session with no surprises. Everything is decided upon ahead of time—locations, outfits, props, poses, insecurities, concerns, hopes, symbolism, and more—ensuring a relaxed atmosphere where you can truly enjoy the art of creating art.
Third
The Cinematic Reveal
The winner sees their portraits for the first time on a large screen at their ordering appointment. It's an emotional, celebrated event where I guide them through the selection process so they're never overwhelmed. I handle every detail from concept to final delivery. The winner receives finished, legacy-quality artwork ready to be enjoyed on their walls, not files that get stuck on a hard drive or in the cloud.
Because of this full-service experience (valued at $1,350+), the donation from
Melissa Officer Photography typically earns the organization $500–$1000+.
This helps the school or organization reach its fundraising goals faster, and ensures that they can continue to support their programs.

The Simply Me 2024 Fundraiser
The Simply Me Portrait Experience was a fundraiser to benefit Cope Family Center, launched by Melissa Officer Photography in June 2024. 19 Napa children were photographed for the campaign and those portraits were on display at local boutiques, cafes, and businesses throughout downtown Napa through December of 2024.
